Objective validity or Subjective awareness

Many philosophers have searched for objective validity, that is to say knowledge of the external world. They search for Truth, with a capital T. Because objects are not free, they are caught in the laws of physics, therefore they cannot change their destiny, they have to be what the laws instruct the to be. Some even consider the mind to be part of these rules, that the brain acts according to physics and we cannot change our destiny. Objects change, they do, but they change according to fixed principles, there is an eternal Truth to the changes of objects. We still do not know everything about the laws of physics, mostly because now we have to deal with the extremely large and the insanely small, and getting all of them to act according to the same principles seems an enormous task.

What does seem to change however is our minds, this change I would call freedom. It is the freedom to choose our actions, there is no choice in the physical laws, they are True because they cannot change. But our minds change, we think about our actions, are these changes caused by something constant? Like the objects that change according to rules does the subjective mind have mental constants? I have spoken before about better or worse, that actions are made from comparisons with other actions, that we are always aiming for better actions. We are free to make poor choices, but we will regret them and want to do better next time. So knowledge is central to freedom, it may seem the greater our knowledge the less the freedom, as we are able to know the best path.

Or maybe knowledge increases our freedom as we are able to generate more valid options for us to follow, without maybe judging the best one. There is a question in physics about why some constants are as they are, there is no doubt that changing these constants by a tiny amount would stop chemistry from functioning and stop life dead. One may believe that God's hand was at work making life possible out of the void, but these constants cannot change, they are Truth. What part of the human mind is unable to change? Knowledge changes all the time, although framed within similar paradigms. I call this unchanging the Soul, there is apart of the mind that will not change, like the DNA in the body, so the Soul wraps all change in on itself, contains the potential, releases the freedom. In short there is a Truth within the spirit, so objects are filled with life and freedom so the mind is filled with dialectical knowledge of it's own self and actions.
