Creation is the transformation of one event or object into another, for this consideration we will consider human creativity. One condition I would like to add is that creativity is the change for the better, when we create we turn something into something better. That maybe usefulness, beauty or perhaps just good, but it has to be better than before. As I have mentioned in previous blogs, better and worse is a feeling, it can't be measured or considered as an objective fact. For me better and worse comes from the soul, it is a God given attitude, for God speaks to us through the soul.
Progress is the name of the game for civilization, and maybe it is best to judge them by their most creative people. Creativity has changed so much from say a hundred years ago, and the feeling could be that we have progressed. But for some parts of life maybe creativity has made things worse, people complain that we have lost some of the contentment of the 'golden days'. In my philosophy if a change has made things worse, it is destruction, not creation, and I believe eventually we will conquer destruction, we will always know what to do to make things better. An interesting question is, can our intuition discover what's best or do we need to learn from our mistakes? Certainly peace and morality has come a long way from a hundred years ago, but those mistakes keep happening, when will we learn?
Creativity is a kind of knowledge, as we grow we learn from previous creators and we develop ideas of our own. For me it was writing, I loved the idea of creating beliefs out of individual concepts, and for me it always came from the intuition. The intuition discovers conceptual problems, and one can use the intuition to explore the conceptual map built over thousands of years. Some people learn to build a house, create artwork, produce music or generate useful finance. But there is the dark cloud of destruction, bad political decisions or greedy business owners, these are making things worse and are the hardest to create the better. Creation is a freedom, the more things one knows how to create, the greater the choice of what is created. Maybe we all find our own way through creation, once we have an idea that works well for our own individual spirit, then we just follow the power of our soul.
